The Hellinikon Sales Center was envisioned as the first landmark of the vast Elliniko redevelopment — a welcoming space introducing visitors to the vision of a new, contemporary Greece. Situated between the Marina Residential Tower and the Marina Mall, the building’s transparent architecture reflects openness and transformation, framing views of both the sea and the emerging urban landscape.

The lighting design follows this conceptual duality of clarity and invitation. During the day, natural light floods the interior through expansive glass façades, creating visual continuity between inside and outside. At night, the artificial lighting takes over, turning the building itself into a luminous beacon — a symbol of renewal and modern identity.

Inside, the lighting composition supports both function and narrative. Linear grazers and concealed coves emphasize the architectural geometry and the material interplay between glass, steel, and concrete. Adjustable spotlights define circulation routes and highlight the exhibition and meeting areas with precision and flexibility, accommodating multiple display scenarios. Warm ambient layers soften the interior volumes, creating a welcoming tone that contrasts with the sleek transparency of the façade.

In the reception and exhibition areas, light acts as a guide and storyteller — shaping visitor experience through rhythm and transition. Vertical accents articulate the structure’s cores, while carefully modulated light levels enhance spatial depth and orientation.

Externally, the façade illumination was designed to express the building’s landmark role without overpowering the environment. Subtle linear lighting along structural joints and roof edges outlines the building’s form, while interior glow escaping through the glass envelope turns it into a radiant object after dusk — visible from afar as a glowing threshold to the new development.

Through this balanced dialogue between architecture and light, the Sales Center becomes both a physical and symbolic gateway — a space where light frames the promise of the future Elliniko and embodies the transition from history to innovation.
