Perched on the northeastern edge of Paros, this villa unfolds between stone, sea, and light. The lighting design was conceived as an extension of the architecture — a subtle layer that reveals form, material, and movement while preserving the serenity of the landscape.

At night, the stone walls and pathways emerge through a rhythm of soft illumination. Step lights trace the circulation routes like thin ribbons of light, while gentle uplighting accentuates the vertical inclined lines of the stone structure, giving depth and quiet monumentality. Around the courtyard and the green canopy, a play of pools and dappled shadows evokes the natural filtering of moonlight through leaves, creating a dialogue between the built and the organic.

This outdoor atmosphere continues inward, where light filters through perforated partitions, blending interior and exterior scenes. In the shared living spaces, pendant lights above the kitchen and dining areas combine direct and reflected light, enhancing textures and defining function without breaking the visual continuity. Downlights and wall lights provide a balanced, diffuse glow, while local accents give focus and warmth.

In the private rooms, the lighting becomes more intimate and tactile — integrated sources within wardrobes, soft bedside lights, and delicate reading beams that define comfort through precision. The pool area completes the composition: a single linear light skims one edge of the water, extending the horizon, while lanterns introduce a gentle rhythm that mirrors the movement of the sea.

The result is a coherent lighting landscape — quiet yet expressive — where every beam, reflection, and shadow contributes to an atmosphere of calm sophistication, framing the villa’s architecture through the poetry of light.
